It was on this day that the disciples hope was restored. For three days they wondered. How could He be dead? How could the Father allow this to happen. Satan thought he had won, only to watch the tombs open when Jesus died on the cross. But today Jesus would lead captivity captive. Through His death we were forgiven. Through His resurrection we were given new life.
